Windows 7 Setup Stop In Disk.sys On UEFI Mode

I have the same motherboard and powersupply as you and after coming across your thread and noticing the similarity i finally ripped out my PSU from my old PC and threw If you have a spare CDROM, that would be a plus, try that. If it's not the Windows 7 DVD I'll tell the repair folks to try a different PSU. But it can reboot, so it´s not frozen.Maybe it´s just not true that Windows 7 64 bit is compliant with the latest UEFI mode boot. sigh!
- It copied the install files to the hard drive.
- It apparently had nothing to do with disk.sys. Although Microsoft lists the Radeon HD 4650 as being compatible with Windows 7, that is only partially true.
- Post back what you find out.

- If you feel lazy doing this which I understand, remove the other two hard drives and just leave one in there to install windows.
- I disabled floppy disk drive,made sata controller over ide only.

I booted into XP and started an install from there.
When I ran the Windows 7 install inside of xp, the partitioner only showed the formatted partitions, and not the unpartitioned spaces. I tried just about everything under the sun in BIOS settings, startup options, PS/2 keyboard w/ no mouse, etc. Ubuntu livedisk also fails to install.or run.after selecting it as boot,it shows all options.I can scroll till run memtest and then it blanks out. Second froze as 4 colored bubbles appeared.3.
The 4 colored orbs fly into place and pulse for about 5 seconds, then freeze and no longer pulse. After that option was disabled I was able to have my card reader installed without hanging the system.As others have suggested, unplug anything not required to boot up and if you Were you unable to finish installing windows 7? So did it twice also without the enhanced option. There was no added hardware or software to the system (completely random) 4.
