why does the frequency drop to 0.9ghz and why does my multiplier decrease from x16 to x7? By opening the laptop I have voided the warranty but I had only one more month left anyway. it was fine even after the replacement , but after 2-3 months of use this frequency drop problem started... If it's your problem you should clean your laptop, reapply cpu thermal paste and clean with canned air through laptop's vents.
