Sony VAIO Windows 7 Installation Seemingly Impossible
It is completely broken, and the recovery software is useless. As you may be aware that in Windows 8 & 8.1 you will not be able to access motherboard without "ASSIST" button with EFI enabled. I want to be able to use my AMD card in chrome. Searching through the cds and dvds, there is a file called SONY1P_0334217.PAC on dvd1 and on cd6. I noticed yesterday 'scanners and cameras' had reappeared in 'my computer' so checked device manager and there it was - a section for imaging devices with the sony webcam. I could not get it to work however I did not use this method. Both machines need to have same core number.
So where are these drivers and extra software?

The former is true for nearly every laptop vendor. LOL People try to help you and that's how you respond to them.

I know I need mobo/hdwe drivers for all, but ofc a disc does not exist. The other problem I had was the Fn + F1 (disable touchpad) and Fn+F9 and F10 (zoom?) didn't work. because i'm stating the obv. Such opinions may not be accurate and they are to be used at your own risk.
