I really appreciate all the help...just sucks not being able to fix my own computer....why do things have to be so complicated? With the help of a friend a few weeks ago who is in IT, I believe I tried the combofix thing. Computer starting up fine in safe mode turing off in startup of normal mode Computer wont start in Windows normal mode Computer wont start up. It only lets me log in to safe mode.

Also you would need to uninstall AVG b4 you run combofix.
