It is a big download as the installer also includes a 60mb boot disc. I tried to do just that but I was told there was insufficient space on my console. Under this situation, we had better decrease the space for page file or remove page file to save disk space. As far as anything being odd...not that I see, but certainly possible that I'm over looking something that would be obvious to others. I grabbed WD's diagnostic tool which shows a nice 250GB working perfectly, BIOS reports the drive correctly, and chkdsk finds no problems, on the 1/2 that it can see. There was absolutely no sign of where that missing space went (overly large files or strange partitions etc). I remember few years back I think I had similar issue and the right clic on C -> Tools-> checkdisc repaired the issue. However, after all RAM is used up, Windows moves some of data from RAM back to hard drive and place them into page file.
