Something Wrong With PC. USB And 2nd HDD Disappearing
Generally speaking, there are 5 possible reasons for this issue. Will this be due to a bad hdd or will it be something else that can't handle the hdd being in? thanks for this. Did you have the ssd plugged in when you loaded windows on the old hard drive? have a peek at this web-site

If the drive still locks up see if there any firmware updates for it. Hard drive disappears, only reappears after power down and reboot. It can be applied in both Windows & Mac and will be automatically detected in a few seconds. Use the command below to repair windows. However, typically we have stored large numbers of files and folders in the external hard drive and we cannot remember all names of folders…So any better idea? I'm not entirely sure, hence this post.
