Happily It seems that my graphics card is not the source of all my problems all along and my system seems stable now. The power supply may also be faulty if it is cheap. Didn't make sense as everything was ok as it was before the driver reinstall, but that's what ended up fixing it. I took it out, cleaned it up, and reseated it (fixed it the previous time). I have ordered a replacement stick. Looks like this might be resolved....though I don't want to speak too soon. any suggestions?  I'm about to try a fresh install because I'm running out of options.  Could the mobo be bad possibly?? Thanks for all your help!
